How to get beautiful skin without spending on expensive treatments

Today I will be sharing some known facts which we all know but never practice.

I will consolidate all the easy and known facts that can be included in our daily routine. If you follow all the below steps you will be blessed with a beautiful skin. Any yes! You don’t have to spend a penny for it.

So let’s get started…

1.      Start drinking a lot.

I mean water! Don’t get me wrong. Drink as much water as you can. There is nothing like excess of water. Water keeps your skin hydrated and young. It’s the best medicine one can have.

2.      Workout/exercise.

This is where we give up. I know it’s boring and not something like watching a movie. But I think everyone feels nice to have that perfect body but no one wants to work for it.
Working out will help your skin breath properly and also shed of the extra fat.

3.      Scrub

Our skin accumulates a lot of dead skin cells in a matter of time. Scrub regularly to get rid of them. This will expose the new skin and keep it fresh by breathing. It glows the skin.

4.      Sleep

Get your beauty sleep properly. Let the cells regenerate themselves. This will happen only when you sleep properly and on time. Don’t compromise on sleeping as it will instantly show on your skin.

5.      Moisturize and sunscreen

Both are extremely important for the skin. No matter if it’s a cloudy day or wintry day don’t go outside without a sunscreen on yourself.
Also every night make a routine of cleansing, scrubbing and moisturizing your skin.

After following the above 5 steps you won’t even need any expensive treatments to be done. Aren’t they easy.?? So get started.

PARK AVENUE BEER SHAMPOO

This shampoo created a buzz when it was launched. “with the goodness of BEER… “ you can say. I am bored of writing long reviews so I am trying to keep this short.
It says in BOLD letters “With REAL BEER”. That doesn’t mean you can drink it. So, everybody knows beer and its goodness, talking in terms of conditioning the hair here. This shampoo is available in all the big stores or you can even check it out online. I found it reasonable for the price.

 Ingredients:
Aqua, Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate, Beer, Dimethiconol (and) TEA Dodecylbenzenesulfonate (and) Laureth-23, Cocoamidopropyl Polyquaternium-10, Guar HydroxyPropyltrimonium Chloride, Bis( C13-15 Alkoxy) PG Amodimethicone, Methychloroisothiazolinone & Methylisothiazolinone, Benzophenone-4, Tetra sodium Edta, Citric acid, Diethyl phthalate, C.I 15985, C.I 19140
Alcohol content: 0.25% w/v Diethyl Phthalate.

Net quantity: 200 ml

MRP  Rs.160 (INR)

Review:

It contains a lot of chemicals, but I am not a herbal products only person so I really don’t care much until it makes my hair beautiful. I don’t usually take a lot of care about my care and when the bottle said shampoo + conditioner in one! I was more than excited.! I don’t have to go through the routine of conditioning and stuff.

So anyways… This shampoo worked really nice when I used it after oiling my hair the previous night. It made my hair soft and shiny. Added a little bit of bounce but I won’t say noticeable. At least it did not make my hair feel limpy or heavy. So *happy*

Now when I used it without oiling my hair. I felt it made my hair a bit cry. I have an oily scalp, so skipping oiling is not a big problem for me. But even then I found my hair a bit dry. So I added up by using some conditioner the next time I hadn’t oiled my hair beforehand, and it worked.

So don’t rely on complete conditioning by this shampoo. You either need to oil your hair or use a conditioner.

Pros:
Affordable
Makes hair smooth and shiny
Little volume
Cleans well

Cons:
Doesn’t foam much
Has “BEER” smell
Not travel friendly
Need to use something for conditioning.

Rating: 4/5

Aloe Veda Cherry Plum Lip Butter With Sunscreen

This is another addition to the lip balm collection. I hate to have it in tubs, but always end up buying the same.

Product
Aloe Veda Cherry Plum Lip Butter With Sunscreen

Quantity: 10 gms / 0.35 FL OZ

Price: INR 115.

Shelf Life:36 months from mfg. date

Ingredients:Sunflower Oil, Soyabean Oil, Beeswax, Sweet Almond Oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Vitamin E, Chocolate Flavour and Vanila Flavouring Agents, Octyl methoxycinnamate (Sunscreen SPF 15)

Other Variations
Mango, Strawberry, Kiwi, Sweet Orange and Chocolate

 Claims
Enriched with cocoa butter, sunflower oil, soyabean oil and vitamin E it hydrates, preventing your lips from moisture loss. Sweet Almond Oil makes your lips look hydrated and ensures that your lips that are soft, supple and luscious. Protects your lips in the winter season by retaining moisture within the lips and prevents it from peeling and getting flaky. It serves to relieve chapped or dry lips, angular cheilitis or stomatitis, and cold sores. Suits people with dry lips throughout the year by keeping lips nourished and hydrated as well as soft and helps them retain their shine.

Review:
This lipbalm comes in a little bit cheap looking tub. It’s really not that  buttery so you don’t have to worry about it melting out or something. It stays intact in the tub even in hot summers, so that’s a plus!

Its not tinted. So people with pigmented lips might not like it. Its semi colored as in a very light shade of reddish pink is what you see when you put it on the lips. Its not very noticeable. It feels a bit oily, like buttery types.

It stands true to some of the claims. I really did not expect it to have sunscreen effect, but I don’t think so it does have it. It moisturizes the lips. Cures chapped lips and make them look healthy. It lasts for 2-3 hours and is not sticky. The only problem is since it’s a bit on the oilier side you can’t apply it with lipsticks. Rest its ok with the price it comes.

Pros:
Buttery
Moisturizes well
Doesn’t have any taste
Lasts long enough
Gives a slight shine when applied.

Cons:
Packaging not good
Priced a bit higher for the value

EverYuth Naturals Lemon Face Wash Review

Today I will be reviewing one of my most used face wash. I got this product for the first time I guess 3 years ago and since then have been using it at least once in a day. I have a lot of face wash (and I mean A LOT) well this is one which has survived a lot of refills.

Claims:
This 100% soap-free face wash gently deep cleanses your skin without making it dry and stretchy. It effectively removes dirt, bacteria & skin impurities and nourishes your skin.

Key ingredients:
  • Lemon: Deep cleanses and tones the skin
  • Green Apple: Refreshing cleanser with natural minerals and proteins
  • Honey: Natural moisturizer that softens and nourishes the skin.

Net Volume: 100 ml+25 ml extra free

M.R.P: Rs 55

I have an oily combination skin. Although we need to moisturize the skin once, but even a little moisturizer makes my skin oily instantly. So I needed something which makes my skin oil free but doesn’t make it dry or itchy which will make me use moisturizer.
So BINGO!! I was never a big fan of everyuth products. But this one struck the right cord.

Have been using since 3 years and it has never disappointed me. It comes in gel based form. Neither too runny nor too thick. It cleans the face really well!! Squeaky Clean…clean! It doesn’t have an intense smell

It has a citrus smell which is very fresh. The smell doesn’t last long but makes you feel fresh. Also its very affordable and comes in varying sizes which makes it easy to carry. It removes all the makeup easily. Even the waterproof ones.

Pros:
·        Affordable
·        Stands to claims
·        Makes skin oilfree for 3-4 hours atleast
·        No intense smell
·        Travel friendly pack
·        Doesn’t dry out the skin

Cons:
·        Not a good choice for people with dry skin

Rating: 4/5 (-1 because it cannot be used by everyone)

Ciao...!!
